Nursing jobs will be among the seventy positions created when a new care home opens in a few months.
The Heather Grange care home will open its doors in December and will be looking to recruit a number of nurse jobs over the coming months.
Due to be situated in Queens Road, near to Burnley General Hospital, the care home will provide a wide level of nursing jobs and provisions.
It will provide residential care, nursing dementia and general nursing care and will plan to provide both respite and permanent care for patients and their families.
With a great emphasis on providing specialist care tailored to the individual, the home will assess all patients before they are admitted in order to best assess the type and level of provision to give them a better quality of care.
Speaking to the Lancashire Telegraph, a spokesperson for the home, which will be run by family run firm, Silk Health Care said: “ Heather Grange is exclusively designed to offer complete flexibility, allowing residents to move between the services to meet any changes within their individual care needs.”
The Leeds based company also aims to treat every patient staying at Heather Grange as an individual with tailored care plans being implemented throughout their stay in the care home.
Additionally the centre will also be also offer specialist care with their ‘memory care community’ which will be able to “incorporate assistive technology and provide stimulation.”
As part of the plans, the home will also try to increase social interaction between residents and guests by having a coffee shop, a number of communal areas and a beauty salon. There will also be lifts between all of the floors and an allotment garden area for any residents who want to have a go at growing their own fruit and vegetables.
