Many people around the UK are boosting their skills by learning languages. For example, a considerable number of individuals are taking Spanish classes in London and elsewhere.
By making the most of Spanish tuition in London and other parts of the country, youngsters and adults alike can bolster their prospects and broaden their horizons. Whether they need to learn the language to pass exams, for the purposes of their work, because they are travelling to the country or for any other reason, many people find the process rewarding.
Among those to have been celebrating other languages and cultures recently were students at Hartland High School. The educational centre was celebrating its World Language Week, the Livingston Daily reports.
In total, 30 presenters were involved in the initiative, which encompassed a series of workshops, including ones focussing on dance.
The students were among the 800 at the school registered to take part in French, German and Spanish programmes.
Commenting on the youngsters’ reactions to the events, Madhavi Mai, the owner of Ann Arbor-based Sadhana Dance Theater, said: “This group was so curious and participatory, and really wonderful. That’s not always the case.”
Meanwhile, French teacher Kathleen Shipley remarked: “We try to expose the kids to all the different cultures of the world with these workshops – and we try to make them interactive. We are located in Hartland, where it’s not very diverse.”
Enthusing about the sessions, student Emily Bell stated: “It’s really fun. I like learning about all the different cultures.” Fellow participant Amber Smith added: “The most fun part is you’re not just focused on learning Spanish, French or German – you’re focusing on other cultures we don’t normally learn about.”
These days, there are many different teaching techniques used by providers of Spanish classes in London and elsewhere. Many of those taking Spanish tuition in London prefer engaging and fun sessions to more traditional approaches.
