We are extremely lucky to have so many countries right on our doorstep, with a huge range of different landscapes and cultures to explore. Take those living in America for example; across the Atlantic, travelling to a wide array of different countries will involve a great deal more time and a great deal more cost, whilst for us, we can explore Europe in one go or take a more leisurely approach, seeing new countries as and when we feel like ii.
Both approaches can be taken with very little cost being involved, whether you take cheap ferries or flights to individual destinations as and when you wish or whether you optimise those cheap ferries with a European train pass and get the opportunity to see as much or as little of Europe as you want, as and when you want, for one low price.
Many people looking to ‘travel’ think that it will be a costly affair. However, this is only if you plan to see the entire world. Since seeing Europe is so cheap and easy, it doesn’t seem as though it is ‘travelling,’ whilst in reality there are so many amazing sights to see and cultures to become immersed in that it will be as rewarding as any round the world trip, but take far less and be far cheaper.
For those just wishing to see countries now and again, cross channel ferries mean that you can, should you wish, see a brand new country any time you have a few days, a weekend or even just a day free. Many people save trips abroad only for their main vacations, but with cross channel ferries, Europe is quite literally just an hour or two away and can be as cheap as a train journey to London. As such, exploring Europe couldn’t be easier.
