English glamour model and TV star Chantelle Houghton has shown that women do not have to settle for second best in the fashion stakes when they are expecting a baby. The 28-year-old was pictured attending the launch event of her new fake eyelashes line wearing stunning maternity wear.
The celebrity showed up at the event in the central London area of Soho draped in gorgeous gold maternity clothes, the Daily Mail reports.
She was sporting a strapless gown with a “daring slit” that showed off her legs, the publication noted.
Houghton rose to stardom when she appeared as the first ever non-celebrity to feature in the Channel 4 Celebrity Big Brother show in 2006. She beat a total of ten stars, including Michael Barrymore, Pete Burns, Dennis Rodman and Jodie Marsh.
Showing that she is not going to let pregnancy curb her sense of style, she ensured she looked as good as ever at the launch. Her dress was embellished with sequins and trimmed in crystals to give it some extra dazzle.
Houghton, along with her fabulous maternity wear, was escorted to the event by proud father Alan, who was “grinning ear to ear”.
Although the celebrity was only three months into her pregnancy when she appeared on the red carpet, she already had a prominent bump and she recently told new! magazine that she does not care how much weight she gains during her pregnancy.
No doubt the usually sleek model will return to her svelte shape soon after she has given birth. Meanwhile, in the interim, she can continue making use of the superb selection of maternity clothes that are now available.
Like many women, she may often choose to source such items over the internet, as this can be much more convenient than heading out to the high street and it can also mean that individuals have a greater selection of offerings to peruse.
