Merchant Taylors’ is an events venue in the City of London suitable for events between 10-700 people.
Merchant Taylors’ Hall is situated on Threadneedle Street, a short walk from Bank station and a 10 minute walk from Liverpool Street Station. There are seven rooms, each allowing Merchant Taylors’ to be able to cater for events from ten to seven hundred guests.

Merchant Taylors’ Hall is uniquely decorated with seven exceptional, grand rooms to pick from, all with an incredible mix of practical elegance and natural daylight. The rooms include:
1. The Great Hall – this is the largest room but also the most versatile. It is ideal for corporate dinners, conferences and wedding receptions. The Great Hall is often used in conjunction with Cloisters and the Garden. With its beautiful traditional interior, events held in the Great Hall are guaranteed to impress.
2. The Parlour – with hand-carved, floor to ceiling panelling, it’s unbelievably ornate carpet and it’s huge windows overlooking the garden.
3. The Drawing Room – always used with the King’s Gallery, The Drawing Room’s hand-painted Chinese wallpaper, chandeliers and elegant furnishing create the perfect environment in which to wow your guests.
4. The Library – this stylish and lavish room evokes a sense of history and refinement. The walls are beautifully decorated with solid wood panelling and books shelves full of leather bound books. The Library is the perfect location for a board meeting, business lunch or intimate dinner.
5. The king’s Gallery – used by King James I in 1607 as a private dining space, The King’s Gallery is an unique space, working beautifully as a support room for the Drawing Room. A graceful room with windows overlooking the Great Hall and a host of paintings, mirrors and decorative features.
6. The Committee Room – a modest, functional yet beautifully appointed space, perfect as a small business centre or as an event organiser’s office.
7. The Court Room – by day, the court room at Merchant Taylors’ is made for Board meetings and strategy days. At night, it can then be transformed into an intimate dining space for up to 50 people.
Cloisters is a great adjoining room that is provides additional space as well as being a perfect meeting location for events. Cloisters joins the Great Hall and provides easy access to the Garden.
The Garden really is the jewel in the crown at Merchant Taylors’ and makes it perhaps the best events venue in London. When the weather is being kind, the garden provides a chateau-style setting, with its classic statues, scented flowers and fountain. The Garden is a great location for barbeques or pre and post dinner drinks.
