A host of celebrities have been showing off their fabulous maternity clothes during an event in the capital. Among those strutting their stuff at London’s Baby Show, which took place at the ExCel Centre from 24th to 26th of February, were Una Healy, Chantelle Houghton and Stacey Solomon, the Daily Mail reports.
The show, which is due to travel to Birmingham and Manchester later this year, attracted plenty of attention. During the event, people could peruse 250 brands and take a look at product demonstrations. Also, they were able to get advice and information from experts.
Proving that her passion for fashion has not disappeared just because she is set to have a child, Healy was sporting a pretty patterned smock and flat pumps. Meanwhile, Houghton’s maternity wear was more “tight-fitting” and, not to be outdone, Solomon looked “elegant” in a polka dot dress.
Healy and her rugby playing beau Ben Foden are expecting their child this month, but she has not stopped working. Along with the rest of her girl group The Saturdays, she was recently filming a music video.
But her bump will not be visible in the final version. About this, she wrote on Twitter: “Up and ready for to shoot our new video. Bump will be edited out of the video so our director will be working his camera skills magic today.”
She added: “I don’t want bump in the video because she will be born when it hits the TV screens so it wouldn’t make sense or relevance by then!”
Meanwhile, Houghton, who will be wearing her maternity clothes for longer as she is not due until May, demonstrated her passion for shopping while at the Baby Show. She and partner Alex Reid had to get help to carry all their purchases to their car. No doubt she has plenty of items of maternity wear to choose from in her wardrobe.
