Although known mostly for his work as a guitarist, particularly as a member of the Rolling Stones, Ronnie Wood is also a renowned visual artist and has been drawing since he was a young child, where he was brought up in a family with a musical and artistic background. He also trained at Ealing Art College in London, with Freddie Mercury and Pete Townshend as fellow students. All throughout his music career, he has continued to draw and paint, and much of his work is influenced by the musicians around him.
Artisan Galleries have Ronnie Wood prints and paintings for sale, which feature the Rolling Stones on stage. For anyone who is a fan of their music, these modern art prints are the perfect addition to a collection of music memorabilia. The electricity and vibrancy of a live Rolling Stones concert really comes alive in this collection of artwork which will really brighten up a room.
Ronnie’s Famous Flames Suite features four modern art prints each focusing on the individual Rolling Stones members, plus a fifth picture called ‘The Stones on Stage – Got Me Rockin’’. Ronnie created these images from photographs with black backdrops and a vibrant orange flame sweeping through each picture.
At Artisan Galleries, there are limited edition signed versions of these paintings for sale, of which only 195 copies of each were printed worldwide. Each image is available separately or as a collection of all four Famous Flames paintings, or all four together with ‘The Stones on Stage’.
You can go and visit Artisan Galleries to see these prints at their locations in Epping and London if you wish, or you can also place an order online or over the phone. There is now free worldwide delivery on all art orders with Artisan too if you’re not based locally to London.
